PART 1 OF 2 - The long awaited video. I had trouble uploading so here it is. Finally! I had intralase eye surgery which is performed blade-less compared to lasik surgery. The recovery time on this type of surgery is 1 day while lasik's recovery time is 8 days. This particular type of surgery is frequently used for astronauts and pilots. After my procedure I saw very blurry and experienced a lot of tearing and was very sensitive to the light. All I had to do is close my eyes for 3 hours the same day and when I awoke, everything cleared up and I saw 20/20. Has to be one of the best things I've done aside to many others. I did my surgery at bogotalaser.com It is located at Bogota Colombia. This place is very upscale with all the latest technology. Highly recommendable. I paid $1350 U.S dollars. I saved myself a lot of money compared to the prices here in the U.S. To find out more about intralase please visit: http://www.abbottmedicaloptics... DONT FORGET TO WATCH PART 2!!

@fudds64 It was pretty good. It was pain free except for the pressure and some irritation for a couple of hours after the surgery. I need to rest my eyes for 4 hours (sleep) and when I woke up the blurriness went away. My vision thus far has been 20/20. One of the best investment I have done by far. It is amazing!

Wow, 1st time ever seeing this video..they slipped right by me.. pretty cool stuff.. Even though I blinked like crazy w/ that thing they use to keep the eye open.. How was it? And how is your sight after having it done?

I had this 4 days ogo and it was great, I thought there would more more pain than this, I am shocked of how fast the procedure was in and out 16 minutes, the only worst part was the pressure they push down onto your eyes. the laser treatment was wow!! your vision is blured when the flap is made and moved then when the laser is running the aroma is WTFIT? and you told keep you eye on red flashing light, the light starts to faintly get bigger, this is the vision comming back to you!!!!

This is something I really want to do. Thanks for posting the video. I feel squeamish looking at it, too but I would totally give up that little bit of time in my life to avoid wearing glasses/contacts again! :)

Yes, this perticular surgery (Intralase) does correct your problem. I posted their website on the right hand side and all the details are there.

I was not asleep. If you look at the video clearly, u can see that I blinked a few times. They provide drops to help you not feel anything during the surgery. I was awake throughout the entire procedure.
