PART 2 OF 2 - The long awaited video. I had trouble uploading so here it is. Finally! I had intralase eye surgery which is performed blade-less compared to lasik surgery. The recovery time on this type of surgery is 1 day while lasik's recovery time is 8 days. After my procedure I saw very blurry and experienced a lot of tearing and was very sensitive to the light. All I had to do is close my eyes for 3 hours the same day and when I awoke, everything cleared up and I saw 20/20. Has to be one of the best things I've done aside to many others. I did my surgery at bogotalaser.com It is located at Bogota Colombia. This place is very upscale with all the latest technology. Highly recommendable. I paid $1350 U.S dollars. I saved myself a lot of money compared to the prices here in the U.S. To find out more about intralase please visit: http://www.abbottmedicaloptics...

Melanie- I'm glad you are so happy with your eye surgery and that it was so successful so quickly. I loved your glasses on you. if you want to bring them to the clothing exchange in vegas, I'd love to have your old frames! Lol- but seriously, you have great style and wore cute glasses.

Ouch! that looked painful... Hi Melanie my name is Pilar, I am still in the process of getting some tests done and hopefully will be getting banded in April..I have been heavy for most of my life taking diet pills and doing all these crazy diets losing and gaining(yoyo) dieting but I am tired of the same and need something permanent no more pills.. How much excersize did you start out doing and how much do you do a week now?

I was awake during the whole procedure as u can see my eyes will blink every now and then. They put these eyedrops in your eyes b4 surgery to numb your eyes.

The whole surgery was btwn 17-20 mins long.
